The McAuley Catholic High School Baseball Team had a promising but overall disappointing season last year after finishing with a 6-9 record. They went into districts with high hopes, but ultimately let mental errors get the best of them. After only losing two players to graduation, including only one starter (2nd team all-district player Kevin Tran), the team is poised to return to their winning ways in 2023. They again will set their sites on a district championship with a wealth of experience returning.

The key returner starters include seniors Kable Reichardt and Joe Staton, junior Rocco Bazzano-Joseph, and Sophomore Michael Parrigon.

Other starters returning include 2nd team All-District senior catcher Jack Jones, 2nd team All-District junior OF Bradley Wagner, sophomore 3B/SS Tripp Miller, senior 1B Kendall Jones, and senior OF Noah Black. Two players looking to make a big impact for the 2022-23 Warriors are Pitcher/Utility players Trey Martinez (SR) and Chase Gardner (JR). They both showed promise on the mound and had solid approaches at the plate last year.

The Warriors' season will be defined by their ability to hit in clutch situations and have solid fielding to back up the starting pitching 1-2 punch of Kable Reichardt and Rocco Bazzano-Joseph. They have District Championship aspirations and believe that if everyone plays their role they can achieve it.
