The McAuley Girls finished off their week playing in the 7th place game of the Diamond "Gem City Classic" Tournament. They faced off against Lockwood High School Friday night. The Girls lost a close game to drop them to 8th place in the tournament by a score of 37-28. The Lady Warriors were without their leading scorer and starting point guard,
Kloee Williamson due to an illness. The bulk of the scoring was done by Freshman PG
Brooke Righter who had 9 points and Senior Forward Lily Black who had 7 points to go along with 14 rebounds and 5 blocks. The young Lady Warriors team are still searching for their first win after a slow 0-4 start, but a promising matchup against the Pierce City Eagles on Tuesday Night will be a good chance to get the ball rolling.
