The McAuley Warriors basketball team played the Sarcoxie Bears on Friday night. The boys were hoping to get off a 2 game-losing streak against one of their big rivals. The Warriors got out to a rapid start leading by as many as 14 points in the first quarter. The lead only grew, reaching 34 points by the end of the 3rd quarter. The Warriors ended up winning by a score of 58-31. They were lead by Senior, Noah Black with 16 points, Junior,
Rocco Bazzano-Joseph with 18 points including four 3PT's and 6/6 from the charity stripe, and 11 points from Kable Reichardt off the bench.

Michael Parrigon did not score but contributed 6 assists and 6 rebounds, leading the team in both. The Warriors play 3 games next week and start with a home game against Jasper on Monday night. They are currently sitting at 2-4, but have a great chance to flip their luck with their upcoming schedule.
