 Lockwood High School

Where did you go to college:
Alan County Community College and Missouri State University 

Athletic/Coaching Background:
I played college baseball and got drafted by the New York Mets in 1987. Played at Missouri State. I was an All-State football and All-State basketball player in high school. I coached girls basketball at Drexel for 3 years. We took third in state one year, and then won the state championship in 1996, we were 31-0. Then I went to Nevada and was the head girls basketball coach for like 22-23 years. Now I’m here at McAuley coaching junior high boys & girls basketball. 

Favorite Hobbies:
My absolute favorite hobby is bass fishing, my second favorite hobby is spending time with my family.

Married/Kids: 
Married to Lorie Bartlett. Two daughters, one is twenty-six the other is twenty-three.

People don’t care what you know until they know how much you care.

Main goal/ outlook for this season:
My main goal for every player and every team I coach is for them to learn the game, and want them to improve at the game of basketball. But my overall goal is to help develop Godly young men and young ladies
