The St Peters Girls Basketball team faced off against the College Heights Cougars in a cross-town rivalry matchup on Friday night. The Warriors were coming off their first loss of the year and were hoping for a bounce-back win. The Warriors eventually fell by a score of 28-26. A very close-fought battle that came down to free throws late in the game which the Warriors could not capitalize on. Ellie Boachick led all scorers with 13 points, and Isabella Gilligan contributed with 8 points alongside Joselyne Perez who had 6. The girls fall to 1-2 but Coach Bartlett knows his girls will keep fighting hard and expects a good performance against another cross-town opponent in Thomas Jefferson on Thursday, 11/17.
